A renowned chartered accountant, viz-a-viz, the Tayese of London, Chief Olanrewaju Sharafa has extended his congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the Nigerian Union of Agriculture and Allied Employees (NUAAE).

NUAAE is a prominent trade union
representing workers in Nigeria’s agriculture and allied sectors.
The union is committed to safeguarding the rights, welfare, and professional development of its members through advocacy, training, and collaboration with stakeholders.

NUAAE plays a pivotal role in promoting sustainable agricultural practices and enhancing the livelihoods of its members.

Sharafa, also a Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) specifically celebrated Comrade Obafemi Oyenubi’s election as the National President of the union, while also recognising the achievements of all the newly elected executive members.

During a virtual felicitation to Oyenubi, Sharafa expressed his admiration and respect for the incoming leadership and applauded their commitment to advancing the goals of NUAAE.

The Tayese of London noted that their emergence reflects the trust and confidence placed in them by their members.

He emphasised the potential for collaboration between NUAAE and other stakeholders, particularly in the areas of capacity building, professional training, and skills development.

The chartered accountant highlighted the importance of equipping union members with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in the ever-evolving agricultural sector.

In his words: “There is a significant place for collaboration with the union, especially in building capacity and developing competencies.

“I assure the incoming executives of my support and partnership as a mark of respect and admiration for Comrade Oyenubi and his team.

“Together, we can achieve meaningful progress that will benefit the union members and the agricultural industry as a whole.”

Sharafa also reaffirmed his commitment to supporting the union’s efforts to strengthen its workforce and create opportunities for growth and development within the sector.

He expressed confidence in the new leadership’s ability to lead NUAAE to greater heights, advocating for innovative approaches to address challenges and harness emerging opportunities.

While wishing Comrade Oyenubi and the entire executive team a successful and impactful tenure, he pledged his continued collaboration to ensure the union’s success in fulfilling its mandate to its members and the industry at large.
