Sharp unveils new digital printer

A heavy-duty productivity booster, the new multi –function printer incorporates advanced technology, intergrated network scanning and flexible configurations that expedites and streamlines workflow.

Equipped with user-friendly 15.4 inch colour LCD touch screen panel, a unique Sharp speciality; the ultra-versatile Pro Digital Colour press offers a full suite of paper-feed and professional quality in-line finishing options, such as stapling, punching, edge to edge printing, full-bleed booklet making and variety of fold options.

Speaking at the launch in Lagos, General Manager, Altech International FZE, Philip Johny said, the printer is specifically for graphic art market. it is a shot run machine compared to the printing machine for newspapers. It has the capacity to run for eight hours which prints about 30,000 pages with uninterrupted power supply.

“Sharp’s triple air-feed paper handling offer consistent printing and image quality that can handle a variety of paper types and paper thickness up to 300g/m2. With selected options, total paper capacity can be boosted all the way to 13, 500 sheets, he said.

He added that the company also offers offset printing with high skilled operator on hand to assist in production process.
Apart from the Pro-Digital Colour Press, Sharp also displays its colour range of multi-function printers; MX-3640N, MX-4140N, MX-5140 and MX-7040N which boast of the simplicity of touch-screen menu navigation with robust multi-tasking workflow features that can elevate office productivity.
