Nigeria’s quest for industrialisation will continue to be a mirage, except there are stable laws and policies guiding business operations and investments and regulating agencies’ laws are respected.

The administrator of the Nigeria Export Processing Zone Authority (NEPZA), Mr. Juwon Falope stated this at the commissioning of CNG Glass Holdings in Ogun State.

In his address at the event, Falope assured the Chinese consortium of security as they go about their businesses. “You have everything you need in Nigeria, our security agencies are on standby for your safety. I can assure you that in the next few years, Nigerians will be going to China to build factories,” he said.

Also speaking, House Committee Chairman of Foreign Affairs at the House of Representatives,
Yusuf Buba noted that the commissioning was a giant step in the economic relationship between China and Nigeria.

“These two great countries have so many things in common and that is why we are experiencing a lot of relationships in the area of economic, social and cultural development, among others,” he said.
