Nigeria’s Supreme Court will rule on four different governorship election trials today.

The apex court will give verdict on Delta, Abia, Taraba and Niger States governorship polls.

A seven-man of the Supreme Court, led by Justice Olabode Rhodes-Vivour, has fixed judgment for 2pm for Taraba and Abia, while hearing is ongoing for Niger and Delta.

Abia State governorship dispute is between Okezie Ikpeazu of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Alex Otti of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA). Otti and his party are challenging Ikpeazu’s victory in the last governorship election.

Also for the Taraba State governorship election, the dispute is between Darius Ishaku of the PDP and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The apex court has commenced hearing in the appeal in respect of Delta State, between Great Ogboru of the APC and Ifeanyi Okowa from PDP.
