Ogun State Police Command

The Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Squad of the Ogun State Police Command has recovered a stolen, unregistered Lexus ES350 saloon car in Ondo State, following sustained intelligence-led efforts.

The vehicle was reportedly snatched by suspected armed robbers at about 2am on 15 September 2026 in the Ogijo area of Ogun state.

In a statement, the command’s police public relations officer, DSP Oluseyi Babaseyi, the vehicle had no registration number when it was stolen.

He said the officer in charge of the Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) squad, SP Obeh Eneye, directed operatives to begin investigations and pursue leads to recover the car and identify those responsible.
