A global computing technology company, inq. has announced the appointment of an industry leader, Glad Dibetso as its Chief Executive Officer designate, effective July this year.
A statement by the firm said Dibetso would succeed Nick Reed, who will remain on as part of the transition process and explained that the move was part of the board’s approved succession plan.
According to it, the company recently completed its acquisition of Syrex, a provider of hyper-converged cloud technology solutions, adding South Africa to its footprint across the continent.
It stated that Dibetso hopes to continue to bolster inq. to become a truly pan-African business, consolidating its traditional connectivity business and accelerating EdgeDock, inq.’s unique digital service offering.
