Thousands of women across Paiko, Gurara, Munya, Tafa and Suleja local government areas of Niger State, as well as Keffi in Nasarawa State and parts of the Federal Capital Territory, received bags of rice, wrappers and cash donations on Tuesday from Saadatu Sani Musa, wife of Senator Sani Musa, as part of Sallah support for vulnerable households.
The intervention, carried out through the Future Pathways Foundation, saw trailer loads of rice distributed to widows, elderly women and low-income families across parts of the Niger East Senatorial District ahead of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
Speaking during the distribution exercise, Hajia Saadatu said the initiative aligned with the foundation’s commitment to ensuring that vulnerable households do not go hungry, particularly during festive periods.
She said the organisation remained focused on reaching underserved communities and restoring hope to struggling families across the state.

Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the intervention, describing the support as timely amid prevailing economic hardship across the country.
Some of the women said the donations would help reduce the burden of providing food for their families during the festive season, while community leaders commended Hajia Saadatu for sustaining grassroots humanitarian efforts.
The Future Pathways Foundation has carried out several humanitarian interventions in recent years across communities in Niger State, focusing on food support, women empowerment and assistance to vulnerable groups.
