Addressing journalists yesterday in Kano, state commander, Hamza Umar, noted that the agency had placed the suspects and their sponsors on close track prior to their arrest, warning that NDLEA was repositioned to crack down on the drug pushes.
One of the suspects (name withheld) told journalists that he was promised 20,000 Pounds Sterling to courier the hard drug to Malaysia.
