President Bola Tinubu has said a supplementary appropriation bill for 2024 will soon be presented to the National Assembly.

The supplementary budget will allocate additional funds to critical sectors of the economy.

The President announced this on Wednesday during a joint session of the National Assembly commemorating Nigeria’s 25 years of unbroken democracy.

The president had in January signed the N28.7 trillion 2024 appropriation bill into law.

The president applauded the lawmakers for giving the 2024 appropriation accelerated consideration.
