Travel advisory as APC holds mega presidential rally tomorrow 

The grand finale of the All Progressives Congress Presidential Campaign will hold tomorrow in Lagos, home of the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Consequently, there will be a procession of APC Presidential candidate, party stalwarts, faithful and supporters from the Local Airport to Stadium through Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, Maryland, Ikorodu Road (Idi-Iroko), Anthony, Obanikoro, Onipanu, Fadeyi, Jibowu, Empire, Moshalashi, Ojuelegba, Barracks to Teslim Balogun stadium, a statement signed by General Manager, Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA), Mr. Bolaji  Oreagba, advised Lagosians.

While the procession takes place on the main carriageway on Ikorodu Road, the service Lane will be available for use by motorists without any hassle.

In addition, to reduce inconvenience and travel time before and during the procession/rally, motorists can make use of  Ikorodu road to Lagos, Lagos/Ibadan Expressway to Lagos/ Oshodi as well as  Old Toll Gate, Alapere, Ogudu,  Iyana Oworo, Third Mainland Bridge and connect their destinations

Those using Apapa-Oshodi Expressway to Lagos are advised to use.

Oshodi Bridge, Anthony Bridge, Gbagada,  Iyana Oworo, Third Mainland bridge to connect their destinations.

Similarly, motorists going to  Ojuelegba, Surulere are to use

Lawanson -Itire Road, Ogunlana Drive, Akerele, Shitta Roundabout, Adeniran Ogunsaya, Bode Thomas,  Masha, Adelabu, Census , Babs Animashaun, Bode Thomas or (DoyinEric Moore, Abebe Village (Nigerian Breweries, Costain and connect their destinations.

From local airport to Maryland, motorists are to use  Kodesho,  Obafemi Awolowo Way , Kudirat Abiola Way (Old Oregun Road) , Ojota Maryland and connect destination, while those from Local airport to Ketu-Mile 12, will use  Kodesho, Obafemi Awolowo Way,  Secretariat Road- Mobolaji Johnson Avenue (7-Up), Ojota Interchange, Ketu and connect destination.

According to LASTMA GM, to reduce inconvenience, travel time, and ensure safety and security of all road users, adequate security and law enforcement personnel will be deployed along the entire dedicated routes to the stadium and alternative roads.

He called for the support and cooperation of all road users, and apologised for any inconvenience this may cause.
