Ugwuanyi dissolves Post-primary School Management Board

Enugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has approved the dissolution of the state’s Post-primary School Management Board (PPSMB).

ENUGU-Hon.Ifeanyi-UgwuanyiEnugu State Governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has approved the dissolution of the state’s Post-primary School Management Board (PPSMB).

This was contained in a statement released by the office of the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Gabriel, O.C Ajah, yesterday.
Consequently, the governor has also approved the reconstitution of the board with effect from October 9, 2015, with Nestor Ezeme, a lawyer, as its new chairman.

According to the government’s statement, Mrs. Favour Ugwuanyi will serve as the permanent secretary of the board, with Mr. Obi Kama and Mr. Clement Inyaba as members.

Other members of the board (on part-time basis) include Mrs.Veronica Ezeugwu, and Mrs. Obiageli Theresa Igwesi.

In a similar development, the governor has also dissolved the Governing Council of the Enugu State College of Education Technical, with effect from October 9, 2015.
In reconstituting another council, the governor has appointed Ambassador Fidelia Akuabata Njeze as its new chairman. Prince Mathew Agu and Mr. Emeka Nwatu are members of the Council.

Others include Professor Tagbo Ugwu, and Ben. Ezeugwu, a lawyer.

The state government said the action was to allow Governor Ugwuanyi-led administration streamline things for “effective management of the Board and Council.”
