A United Kingdom (UK)-based childcare expert, Mrs. Caroline Popoola, yesterday, urged educators and practitioners in the childcare sector in Lagos and Ogun states to collaborate for the protection of children and upcoming generations.

Popoola, who is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Alpha Global, said this while speaking with journalists in Lagos.

She said it is important that the stakeholders collaborate, especially in a society where childcare practitioners don’t have sufficient support, adding that lack of backing for childcare practitioners is not just a Nigerian issue, but also a global problem.

According to her, when practitioners and educators collaborate, they can bring transformation to the crucial sector of the economy

She, therefore, said that the organisation’s plan to host a conference in Lagos is aimed at impacting and changing the mindset of key stakeholders in the education industry.

Popoola further expressed her readiness to partner with Lagos and Ogun governments towards eliminating bottlenecks hindering healthy participation as well as providing more support for children.
