Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma, yesterday, inaugurated the Ondo State chapter of the Renewed Hope Ambassadors (RHA), declaring that President Bola Tinubu deserves a second term in office based on what he described as landmark projects and bold reforms ongoing in the country.

Uzodimma, the Director-General of the group backing and mobilising for Tinubu’s reelection in 2027, emphasised that the President had made enormous progress across various sectors of the economy since assuming office in 2023.

While speaking during an event held in Akure, the state capital, the Imo State governor, who was represented by the South-West Coordinator of the group and Chairman of the Nigeria Port Authority (NPA), Dayo Adeyeye, cited ongoing road construction projects and the nationwide renovation and construction of healthcare facilities as key achievements justifying Tinubu’s return to office.

According to the governor, expanding road infrastructure nationwide is improving connectivity, boosting economic activity, and easing longstanding transportation challenges that have hampered commerce and mobility for decades.

He also pointed to the introduction and expansion of student loan schemes, noting that the initiative is widening access to higher education and reducing financial barriers for Nigerian youths.

With Uzodimma inaugurating the 18 local council coordinators in the state, he charged the newly appointed ambassadors to intensify grassroots mobilisation and ensure disciplined, coordinated support for the president’s second-term bid.

On his part, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa said RHA participants are frontline drivers of the Renewed Hope agenda, stressing that the platform is an active mobilisation structure for spreading reform and continuity in the state.

The governor emphasised that the platform’s goal is to build a strong political network capable of translating grassroots support into victory, reaffirming Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 as the central objective.

Meanwhile, the Delta State chapter of the City Boy Movement has pledged to deliver 2.7 million votes to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming elections, as part of a broader nationwide target of 10 million votes in support of Tinubu.

The commitment was made during the inauguration of the State Executive of the movement and the unveiling of its secretariat at the Dome Events Centre in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
