Former Vice Chancellor of Madonna University and immediate past Chairman of Imo State Universal Basic Education Board (IMSUBEB), Prof. Obioma Iheduru, has strongly condemned Governor Hope Uzodinma’s threat to stop peaceful political protests in the state, saying: “It is undemocratic and unlawful.”

Iheduru, who is also a chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), stated this while fielding questions from newsmen in Owerri yesterday, insisting that neither Uzodinma nor his government has the right or authority to make such proclamation or decree.
