The vice president of Nigeria Prof Yemi Osinbajo was decorated with the national honour of Grand Commander of Order of the Niger by former president Goodluck Jonathan. He is a gentleman and a scholar -statesman whose governance was distracted by Boko Haram insurgency. Ironically, his finest hour and best display of his examplary quality of benevolence and patriotism in ensuring a historic and unprecedented power transition came in the wake of his electoral defeat.
