Unrelenting in the promotion of his latest single titled pray for me, Chibike Steven Igbokwe known as White Lion said he is putting finishing touches on his debut album.

White Lion, a singer, songwriter Hiphop act hails from Nnewi, Anambra State, he was born in Lagos, Nigeria on April 18 1995 and attended Jordan High School, Ikotun, Lagos.

He officially launched his music career in 2012, but didn’t release any work professionally till 2018. Signed to his own imprint White Lion Empire an independent label, he kicked off his 2019 with “Drip Up” in July and followed up with “Open and Close” in Oct.

He only started getting attention this year with the release of his recent most single “Pray For Me” in July 2020. Pray For Me is an inspirational song made in the middle of the covid 19 pandemic lockdown with the aim to motivate listeners.

His creative influences include, Burna boy, Wizkid, Wande Coal & Duncan Mighty. His style of music employs the fusion of afrobeat and hiphop.

Currently working on his debut album which should be released later this year, he is not leaving any stones unturned in his search for musical recognition.
