AN Ikeja Magistrate’s Court sitting on Tuesday granted one Patience Amuchi bail. The suspect was alleged to have converted $10,000 at Everdon Bureau De Change of No. 163/165 Broad Street, Lagos Island, to her personal use.

According to the police prosecutor, Benson Emuerhi, the defendant converted the property of Everdon Bureau De Change to her own use and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 285 (1) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State of Nigeria.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. A. Olayinka, granted the suspect, who pleaded not guilty to the charge, a bail of N1 million and two sureties with two years tax payable at N15,000 per month. The case was adjourned to March 28, 2016.
