A WOMAN, Mrs. Favour Udoh, has lost all her three children, Daniel, Saviour and Joshua, to domestic fire incident that consumed her residence at Elebele community in Ogbia Council.

The Bayelsa State Police Command, in a statement signed by its Public Relations Officer, Asnim Butswat, yesterday said its officers had responded to a distress call by the woman about 11.05 pm on Thursday night and helped in putting out the fire.

The statement added that the children, who were asleep at the time of the incident, could not be saved, as they were all roasted to death in the inferno.

The statement said preliminary investigation revealed that the fire was caused by candlelight.

The bodies have been deposited at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC) mortuary in Yenagoa for autopsy.
