Seoul Arts Centre entertains with a magic display show

The Seoul Arts Centre (SAC) continues to enrich the cultural landscape of Abuja through its engaging monthly program, ‘SAC on Screen,’ featuring a captivating magic display show.

This initiative highlights the unique appeal of magic as a universal art form that remains largely underexplored. By showcasing such performances, the show not only brings excitement but also fosters a sense of balance and appreciation for diverse artistic expressions.

The recent event held at the KCCN studio in Abuja showcased the incredible talents of Eungyeol Lee, a renowned illusionist and the first Asian magician to secure the top prize in the general magic category.

An Administrative Officer, Chidimma Tobins, shared that the choice of a magic show over traditional stage performances is to explore diverse art forms that have a universal appeal.

Tobin explained that Sac on Screen aims to enhance cultural exchange between Korea and Nigeria. She explained, “The decision to present a magic show was made to diversify our content and provide a lighter, more enjoyable experience. By moving away from themes that are more serious, we hope to offer entertainment that encourages relaxation and laughter. Additionally, the magician’s performance touched on various cultures from different continents, fostering connections and understanding between them.”
