Yoruba youth group warns against
Barely 24 hours after indications emerged that the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Timi Frank may have been recommended for suspension from the party, a pro-Yoruba youth group, National Committee of Yoruba Youth, (NCYY) has warned the party’s leadership against taking actions that would further harm the party.
The position is coming barely 24-hours after the Disciplinary Committee submitted its reports with a possible recommendation for the suspension of the outspoken spokesman for his alleged strident criticism of the National Chairman of the party, Chief John Odigie-Oyegun
In a statement in Abuja yesterday, the President of the organisation, Oladimeji Odeyemi, described the latest development as proof of Chief John Odigie-Oyegun’s perpetual preference for abandoning his primary mandate in pursuit of ventures that have no bearing on what he was elected to do as the leader of the party.
