Yuletide: NURTW chieftain urge members to embrace peace


A chieftain of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Sunday Olawuyi has urged members of the association to embrace peace during the Yuletide season.

Olawuyi, who is NURTW Zonal Chairman and the Asiwaju of Orile –Ijaiye land, Oyo State chapter, said the festive season is an appropriate time for members of the union to show love to one another.

He also enjoined all descendants of Oyo State, parents guardian, traditional rulers to keep their hope alive in the country and not neglect their responsibilities in nation-building.

The NURTW chieftain urged elders to inspire youths about a greater Nigeria by demonstrating patriotism.

He felicitated with all NURTW members, All Progressives Congress (APC) national leader Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, Oyo State governor Seyi Makinde, Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, Chief Ganiyu Adams, Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land, MC Oluomo Alh. Musiliu Akinsanya, Alh. Mukaila Lamidi a.k.a Auxiliary, Chairman NURTW, Oyo state.
