The Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has distributed 19 utility vehicles to judges and khadis to improve the equitable dispensation of justice to the people.

According to him, the allocation of vehicles is part of the government’s commitment to strengthening the judiciary’s service delivery in the state.

Zulum, represented by his Deputy Chief of Staff, Dr. Babagana Mallumbe, presented the keys to the vehicles to the State’s Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Barrister Hauwa Abubakar, over the weekend (Friday) in Maiduguri.

He noted that the distribution of working vehicles to the Judges and Khadis is a testament to Zulum’s support for the judiciary in the dispensation of justice to the people.

Mallumbe continued: “As directed by His Excellency, it is my honour and privilege to hand over these vehicles to you on behalf of the state government. The distribution exercise is part of our efforts to enhance the judiciary in the dispensation of justice across the state.”

Hauwa, therefore, expressed her gratitude for the governor’s commitment to good governance with an efficient judicial system, stating that, “The distribution of utility vehicles to the judicial sector will promote and sustain the dispensation of justice in the state.”

Additionally, she said that the support in the judicial sector will enhance the operations of the judges in upholding justice and equity for all.
