The insurgents, this week, attacked Chul community, after torching several houses and shops in Rumirgo, Lassa, Mussa, Kufa and Gwandam this month.
Governor’s spokesman, Isa Gusau, disclosed yesterday in Maiduguri that his principal had raised concerns that whereas the insurgents appeared confined to the shores of the Lake Chad in northern Borno, they were able to reach other parts of the state in Sambisa Forest.
According to Gusau, the governor is worried about the recent attacks by Boko Haram on communities located on the fringes of the forest.
