Special Adviser on Public Relations and Strategy to Borno State Governor, Isa Gusau, yesterday, celebrated his Master’s degree (Distinction) in Media and Public Relations at the University of Leicester, United Kingdom (UK).
The ceremony was held at De Montfort Hall around the University of Leicester’s campus in Leicester City. The graduation was held in-person for the first time since the outbreak of the Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).
This was made known to The Guardian via a Government House statement, yesterday.
According to the statement, Gusau had in 2020 requested one-year study leave from the Borno government, which was graciously granted by Governor Babagana Zulum, and he moved to the UK in September 2020, from where he was coordinating the governor’s media activities.
The University of Leicester, until 1957, was known as University College, Leicester, and is one of UK’s highly respected academic institutions.
