May crude oil be discovered in your lands
May crude oil be discovered in your lands
May the lands be taken over by the government
May the oil blocs in the land be shared out to strangers from another land
May the oil company not employ any member of your family
May oil spill and pollute all the adjoining lands and waters
May gas flare day and night in your skies
And when you complain about these injustices may you be shot at and bombed senseless.
Amen.
