Sir: With due respect to your office, I write on behalf of many innocent JAMB candidates who sat the 2017 JAMB exam at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta and are yet to get their results up to this moment.

You stated in an interview on Channels Television (Sunrise daily) that those who are yet to get their results are not qualified to get them now because traces of examination malpractices were found at the examination centres.

While saying this sir, you also mentioned that your body (JAMB) had released the results of 15,000 candidates on Monday, May22, 2017, whereas nothing was released on that day.

Sir, I can categorically tell you that, it my centre, where I wrote the exam, students didn’t engage in any form of examination malpractice. The process was free and fair and the candidates were thoroughly searched before entering the examination hall.

Sir, do you want to tell us that all the students that sat for the exam on that day (15th May, 2017) were involved in examination malpractices? Or do you want to tell us that it’s only on that day that you noticed the traces of examination malpractices at that centre? What of those who wrote before and after that date that have seen their own results?

Sir, there are allegations that your body (JAMB) made use of faulty severs that erased all our database on that day.

I gathered from a reliable source that the exams that were written and submitted by candidates of this centre and many other centres did not get to JAMB for assessment on that day and this will make students not to get their results.

All those allegations seem to be true because JAMB cannot present a concrete evidence against all these centres that there were examination malpractices at their centres on that day.

I therefore call on JAMB to come out with the truth and nothing but the truth and stop pretending as all is well with the 2017 JAMB exam.

JAMB should release our results and stop hiding under the auspices of examination malpractices to tell us lies about our future.

JAMB should release our results and stop giving us sleepless nights and nightmares.

Ogunbamowo Jamiu, Ogun State.
