Fraudulent practices at filling stations across Nigeria

Sir: Fraudulent practices are being carried out on both fuel and cooking gas stations by marketers to make double profit. I am appealing to the regulators to please come to our aid with keen interest in helping the masses.

Cheating by trick or embezzlement from the poor masses is uncalled for, not minding what the masses are going through to earn a living yet others are finding ways to defraud them. The effect of this practice shows that these organisations are trying to sabotage the effort of this administration.

The masses are urgently begging you, sir, to step in and act. Though CNG buses are not many, those plying the roads are not helping, rather they charge same with those buses using fuel. But for this, the difference is yet to be seen as expected in terms of transport fare.

I personally plead with you, Mr. President, to look at the grievances arising from price-hike and put a stop to this criminal act of marketers by way of adjusting the meter. If a person were to buy fuel worth N10,000, they would end up buying fuel worth N9,850, wherein the balance goes back to the marketers due to the adjusted pump meter.

I am personally committed to this great vision of humanity and also to this government and that all hands would be on deck to ensure that things work well according to the vision that you have, not looking for who to interpret your dream for you like king Pharoah of Egypt. I know that it is collectively possible to make this happen. For this reason, I point out this criminal act of sabotage or fraudulent practices ongoing in filling stations across the country for action to be taken not to jeopardise your vision for this great country, Nigeria.

You are a listening President. I hope urgent action will be taken for this purpose. It is said that when performance is measured, performance improves, but when performance is measured and reported, rate of improvement accelerates. I believe Nigeria’s wealth is her people not her oil.

Mr President please grant the masses request, help us to build a nation where no man or group is oppressed, that there will be peace and plenty.

God bless you Mr. President and God bless our country Nigeria.
