2027: Obidient Movement announces ‘era of unity, coordination’
In a significant move to achieving its vision of a new Nigeria, the Obidient Movement has launched a new era of unity and coordination, aimed at strengthening the movement.
The announcement was made by Dr. Tanko Yunusa, Interim National Coordinator of the Obidient Movement, in a statement on Friday
According to him, the movement has established a political structure, introduced by its leader, Peter Obi, during a recent gathering on the X Space platform.
The structure is designed to facilitate a unified approach across all levels of government, from federal to state and local.
He acknowledged past grievances and divisions, apologising for any hurt caused and recognising the validity of concerns.
He emphasised the need for unity, tolerance, and respect, guided by the principles of Character, Competence, Capacity, Consistency, and Compassion.
He invited all members to participate in finalizing its operational structure and to begin mobilization efforts in their wards, supported by online registration across the federation.
This development marks a significant step towards realising the movement’s vision of a New Nigeria, built on inclusivity, fairness, and unity.
