2027: Tinubu’s re-election will consolidate economic recovery, reforms – Yari

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu

Former Governor of Zamfara State and Senator representing Zamfara West Senatorial District, Abdulaziz Yari, has said the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 would help consolidate ongoing economic recovery and institutional reforms in the country.

Yari made the assertion while unveiling a political movement aimed at mobilising nationwide support for the President’s re-election.

The group, known as The Renewed Hope Network (TRHN), was formally announced in a statement jointly signed by its National Facilitators, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar and his deputy, Emmanuel Osita.

According to the statement, the movement was conceived by Yari after extensive consultations with political stakeholders, grassroots leaders, youth organisations, women groups and former elected officials across the federation.

The facilitators described TRHN as a broad-based national coalition comprising grassroots politicians, notable political actors, community mobilisers, women leaders, youth organisations and former councillors drawn from the 774 local government areas of the country.

They explained that the movement was established to unite progressive voices and grassroots political structures under a coordinated national platform committed to sustaining the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Our collective resolve is anchored on the conviction that Nigeria is currently on a path of economic recovery, institutional reforms and renewed national optimism under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu,” the statement said.

According to them, the primary objective of The Renewed Hope Network is to galvanise grassroots support across the country for Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 presidential election, while also promoting citizen engagement, political inclusion and national unity.

The facilitators also disclosed that arrangements had reached an advanced stage for the official national launch of the movement, which is expected to attract political stakeholders, youth leaders, women groups and supporters from across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

They added that the network remains committed to strengthening Nigeria’s democratic culture, deepening grassroots participation in governance and supporting leadership focused on economic growth, national security and social progress.

The group called on Nigerians, particularly young people, women, community leaders and political stakeholders, to join the movement, adding that details of the official launch and nationwide mobilisation activities would be announced in due course.
