Indigenes of Abia State resident in North America and the United Kingdom have joined individuals and groups canvassing for Governor Okezie Ikpeazu’s re-election in 2019.

The group, under the aegis of Okezuoabia of North America/U.K., the apex socio-cultural organisation of Abia State patriots and progressive professionals in U.S.A., Canada and the United Kingdom, endorsed the governor for a second term at its 2018 first quarter general meeting in U.S.A.

In a communiqué sent to The Guardian, the Okezuoabia group stated that its resolve to support the re-election was due to “the will of God and deep concern and love for the welfare of Ndi Abia State.”
