The Abuja Court of Appeal has affirmed the election of Dr. Kayode Fayemi as Governor of Ekiti State.The Justice Stephen Adah-led three-man panel in its judgment dismissed the appeal filed by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and its candidate, Olusola Eleka, for lacking in merit.

The tribunal in the judgment resolved all seven issues raised by the appellants in favour of the respondents, which include the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Fayemi.
