… Hails Interior Minister’s dedication to President’s re-election

A support group within the All Progressives Congress (APC), BTO4PBAT, has urged the people of the Ifedore Local Council Area of Ondo State to key into the re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general election.

According to the support group, Tinubu deserves their support going by the bold reforms as well as ongoing federal government-initiated projects in various parts of the state.

BTO4PBAT made the appeal at the local government during the third and final phase of the group’s ward-to-ward tour across the state.

With the tour drawing grassroots mobilisers, community leaders, and party stakeholders who gathered to reaffirm their backing for Tinubu ahead of the 2027 general elections, the coordinator of the council, Femi Ajape, the local government coordinator, urged residents to amplify awareness of the administration’s achievements, with particular recognition of the Minister of Interior, Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo’s, contributions.

Folajimi Adewumi, the group’s publicity secretary, called on residents to disseminate the BTO4PBAT message throughout every corner of the local government, emphasising the need for sustained grassroots mobilisation and advocacy in support of Tinubu ahead of the 2027 elections.

A member of the group, Mrs Afun Kemi, appealed to women in the area to intensify their support for the president, expressing confidence in his leadership based upon her long-standing observation of his political career.

Also, Mr Ajayi Temitope stressed the necessity of unity among the people, asserting that collective cooperation remains essential for achieving meaningful development while cautioning against prioritising short-term monetary gains during elections.

The Igbara Oke Ward Coordinator, speaking on behalf of all ward coordinators, advised residents to verify the validity of their permanent voter cards, warning that failure to do so could result in disenfranchisement.

Aluko Oluwasegun from Ijare highlighted the achievements of Dr Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo during his tenure in the House of Representatives, commending his dedication to public service and community development.

On his part, the director-general of the group, Adesuyi Adojutelegan, assured members that all registered party members would have roles to play as delegates during the primaries.

Adojutelegan emphasised the importance of maintaining valid voter registration and urged those facing PVC-related issues to resolve them promptly.

“The tour is aimed at strengthening grassroots support for President Tinubu. Any further political engagement by the group after the 2027 general elections will shift toward 2028, with plans to pursue gubernatorial support.”
