Kwankwaso’s defection poses no threat to APC in Kano, says Ganduje

Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje

Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, yesterday declared that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) is not threatened by the defection of former Governor and Senator representing Kano Central, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso and some members of National Assembly to Peoples Democratic Party (PDP)

Ganduju who spoke to journalists yesterday in Kano on his arrival from United Kingdom, said that the exit of his erstwhile political godfather was not enough to cause potential havoc to the ruling party.

The governor said the allegations of insecurity and poor economic management by the defectors against President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration was not weak, and proof that the aggrieved former APC members are resistant to the change mantra of the government.
