The command’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Toun Ejire-Adeyemi, in a statement issued in Ilorin on Friday, said exceptions would, however, be given to some persons.

According to her, exceptions will be given to persons rendering essential services, such as accredited electoral officials, authorized media personnel, electoral observers, and emergency responders.

“Armed security personnel on VIP protection/escort duties have been restricted from escorting their VIPs to the polling booths.
