Labour Party seeks cancellation of Delta election results
ALLEGING gross irregularities, inducement, manipulation and intimidation at the recent Presidential, National Assembly and Warri – North constituency elections, the Delta State chapter of Labour Party (LP) has rejected the entire results.
The party at a news conference in Lagos hinted that it would go to court to reverse the results, because LP was convinced it won. Oristebemigho Eyeoyibo, the LP’s House of Assembly candidate for Warri North constituency, who addressed journalists on the issue, said that it was regrettable that the general election which signified a major milestone in the annals of the country’s democracy was marred by “gross irregularities.”
According to him: “The results that were announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) do not reflect the wishes of our people.
We, therefore, reject the results of the elections particularly the one of Warri –North consistency and other federal constituencies in the zone (Delta South Senatorial District).
“We want the entire world to know that the results announced by INEC reflect predetermined, manipulated and fictitious figures forged by a rigging machinery of the PDP.
“The Labour Party of Nigeria has filed a petition to the tribunal over the outcome of the election results as well as myself.” He added: “In Warri- North, my Local Government Area which comprises 10 wards, there was no adequate provision of elections materials /facilities for the riverine communities.
“In addition, the elections were characterised by lack of adequate training of manpower to work on the card readers in the riverine areas, the card readers were malfunctioning, INEC officials resorted to manual registration, inducement of INEC officials, reports of massive thumb-printing of voters cards in private homes of political party members and violence among others in the senatorial area. We insist on total cancellation of these results.
“The e -voting system is commendable but INEC should improve on man-power training and logistics for future elections.”

laughably, the shameless 419 scammer, head of the Black Axe Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo is contesting in court that the election was a fraud?
The big problem is that whilst on one hand cultists are been punished for been such… we live in such a fucked up country that in the very same weeks the head of the cultists can also be in court contesting his right to be part of our government.
Hopefully the courts will research who Oritsebemigho Eyeoyibo is before he turns up.
We will review and take appropriate action.
