The National Association of University Students (NAUS) Edo state Campus monitoring committee (CMC), on Thursday felicitated with the Edo Governor-elect, Monday Okpebholo, and his deputy, Dennis Idahosa on their well-deserved victory in the just-concluded Edo State governorship election.

Chairman of the National Association of University Students (NAUS) Edo State Campus monitoring committee (CMC) Osahon Eseosa in a statement said, “Your triumph at the polls is a clear testament to the confidence the people of Edo State have in your leadership and vision for the future.

“As you prepare to assume the mantle of leadership, we are optimistic that your administration will place a premium on education, particularly focusing on the urgent needs of our state-owned institutions, with Ambrose Alli University (AAU) as a key concern.

“We, the students, are eagerly looking forward to meaningful reforms in the educational sector reforms that will address issues such as infrastructural development, the provision of adequate housing, and the reduction of tuition fees to a more affordable level.

“Your administration’s dedication to these critical areas will undoubtedly contribute to the future prosperity of Edo State and its young population.”

The NAUS group prayed for wisdom, strength, and success for the governor-elect in transforming Edo State.
