North Central APC Elders Forum hails Sule over conflict resolution in zone
The North Central APC Elders Forum has applauded Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State for his role in restoring peace to the APC in the region.
Led by the former Senate President, Ameh Ebute, the forum described the recent visit of Governor Sule to the APC National Headquarters, Abuja, where he met with the National Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, as a step in the right direction.
While applauding the Abdullahi Umar Ganduje-led National Working Committee for the establishment of the National Progressives Institute, the forum tasked Ganduje with including the North Central zone in the leadership of the institute, which is about to be unveiled by the party in a few days.
The forum thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the National Chairman of the party, His Excellency Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, for resolving the political crisis that previously plagued Benue APC. The dissolution and constitution of the Caretaker Committee in Benue have restored peace to both the party and governance in the state.
Ebute urged all APC governors in the region to emulate Governor A.A. Sule by visiting the National Chairman of the party to further strengthen their relationship with the leadership at the centre.
“We are committed to supporting anything that will be beneficial to the North Central people using the governing APC to attract development to our zone,” he noted.
