Ododo determined to bring governance to Kogi grassroots – Aide

The Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Ismaila Isah, has said that Governor Ahmed Ododo’s administration is determined to bring good governance closer to the people at the grassroots.

The special adviser stated this during a visit to his community in Ogaminana Central, Adavi Local Government Area (LGA) of the state.

He called on community stakeholders to be proactive toward the upcoming Local Government elections to ensure victory for the party.

He stated that the visit aligns with Governor Ododo’s administration’s vision of bringing development and strategic interventions to people at the grassroots level.

He further noted that the current administration is intentional about women’s inclusion in governance and that the Governor will continue to advance the political and economic relevance of women and youth in the state.

He called on the people of the state to support Governor Ododo’s administration in his quest to elevate Kogi to a higher pedestal of economic and infrastructural development.

Earlier in his address, the Chairman of Adavi United Forum for Ododo, Yusuf Enevene, appreciated the gesture from the special adviser on Media for connecting with his people and described him as a true son of the soil.

He also commended Governor Ododo for his positive initiatives, especially the prompt payment of salaries and pensions in the state.

Meanwhile, the APC Council aspirant, Suberu Adijatu, expressed appreciation for the interventions and kind gestures from the Special Adviser on Media, applauding his efforts toward empowering women in the community.

The high point of the occasion was the distribution of mobile phones to all ward chairmen of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Adavi Local Government Area and members of the party executive in Ogaminana Central ward, as well as cash donations to women and youth groups in the ward.
