SDP candidate accuses Amosun of mismanagement
Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Ogun State, Rotimi Paseda, has accused Governor Ibikunle Amosun’s administration of plunging the state into huge debt through “gross mismanagement”.
Paseda, speaking during Ogun West SDP end-of-year party at Atan in Ado-Odo/Ota Council, regretted that “it is too late to advise the governor.”He pledged to restore the dignity of the state and give the residents the much-desired dividends of democracy and to work hard to raise the standard of education, if elected.
Paseda disclosed that his administration would focus on education, health and economy.His words: “This 2019 election is the mother of all elections. It is not going to be about money or parties, but individuals and candidates.
“It is too late to advise Governor Amosun. All he has to do now is what is called political cleaner and damage control.”He assured that his administration would provide a minimum of 1,000 megawatts of power within four years, as the availability of electricity would enhance productivity of artisans in the state. Paseda seized the opportunity to unveil Chief Musiliu Akinogun as his running mate.
