AHCN workshop holds in Akure

IN its renewed efforts to provide viable solutions to the myriad problems of mass housing provision to stimulate and enhance effective housing delivery, the Association of Housing Corporations of Nigeria (AHCN) has concluded arrangement to hold a two-day national workshop on repositioning housing sector.

The event which will take place at the OSDPC Event Centre, Akure from May 19-20 2015 will provide a forum to fashion out appropriate strategies for activating effective mass housing programmes that will set an agenda for the incoming government in using mass housing provision as tool of economic recovery.

The theme of the event is “Strategies for Activating Mass Housing Provision As Agent of Economic Recovery and Development” and participants would be drawn from mortgage sectors, Federal Ministries of Finance, Housing and Urban Development, and the entire housing sector of the econo
