Ahead of the Lagos Architects Forum kicking off on Wednesday, about 40 firms have keyed into the professional gathering, being promoted by the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), Lagos State Chapter.

Known as LAF 2016, “Lagos 7.0 – Evolving Architecture”, this year’s event intends to highlight contemporary issues in new business frontiers of architecture including the roles of local and international codes, adoption of design build for architectural business options, analysis of pre-design programs, and the economics of developments. The organisers, NIA had as at the last weekend, secured at least four partners and 38 exhibitors.

Exhibitors who newly indicated their interest are Almog Engineering Limited, Alumax Industries Limited, Bina Yapi Integrated Constalinks Limited.

According to Chairman, NIA, Mr. Ladipo Lewis, LAF has become a reference point in the nation’s built environment hence the institute had perfected plans to make this year’s event a memorable one.
