Uraga completes Lightwell Garden Estate in Abuja

PROSPECTIVE homeowners have been beckoned on into a newly completed residential project, dubbed as Lightwell Garden Estate, located in Utako Area of Abuja.

The newly completed residential project has further reduced Nigeria’s housing gap, with the unveiling of the Uraga Real Estate company’s 55 housing units.

The N2.2 billion Lightwell Garden Estate, a beautiful and serene, contemporary style, fully serviced gated community is set on 1.7 hectares of beautifully landscaped land situated in the vibrant Utako area of Abuja, just 15 minutes from the Abuja city centre.

The house types include two, three and four bedrooms apartments, which are fully serviced. Services and facilities within the development are a clubhouse with multi-purpose hall, gymnasium, swimming pool and squash court.

Unveiling the project last week in Lagos, Director, Property and Facility Management, Uraga Real Estate Limited, Mr. Kunle Fashogbon, said with the kind of design and facilities in Lightwell, his company has raised the bar of excellence in the real estate market, adding the tempo would be sustained in all its future residential developments.

“Although this is not our first real estate project, it is our first residential estate under the name Uraga Real Estate. Uraga Real Estate had previously existed as the property subsidiary of Honeywell Group under the name Skyview Estate Limited, which had developed eight projects in various locations within Lagos and Abuja.”

To make it affordable, the developer said it has mortgage offer. “Our mortgage partner is FBN Mortgages and we encourage potential buyers to approach them for modalities of keying into the project.”

According to Fashogbon, the entire development is covered by a Certificate of Occupancy issued by the FCT Minister in favour of the direct allotted, adding that his firm would be issuing a Deed of Assignment.

“Since the completion of Lightwell Garden Estate in November, we have achieved approximately 35per cent sales and with the numbers of enquiries and site visits by prospective buyers on a daily basis, we believe this number will rise exponentially as we enter the new year.”

Head of Developments, Mr. Priye Johnson, said intends to do more commercial and residential projects measuring approximately 200,000 square metres in the Victoria Island, Lekki and Mainland areas of Lagos as well as in Abuja.
