Afro-Prime Act, 11 sign drops new single Oh God
…Says Good Music Is A Mirror Of Life
Fast-rising singer, songwriter, and poet, Akande Toheeb, popularly known as 11 Sign, has released his latest project titled On God.
The new jam specifically curates the sufferings of an average Nigerian and the hope of a better nation. The multi-talented artiste said he got inspiration for his songs from events happening around him.
Toheeb, who doubles as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blac Spirit Music, described good music as a mirror of life.
Born on September 19, 1992, and raised in Abeokuta, Ogun State, the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) Political Science graduate described his Afro-prime style of music as one that centers on getting solutions to the immediate problem of the society.
“It is a combination of speaking into the existence of listeners and giving them hope of a better tomorrow,” he said.
Toheeb, who is signed to his own label, Blac Spirit Music, which was founded in 2020 with the vision of making an indelible mark of greatness in the history of world music through his Afro prime, is determined to make a difference in the entertainment industry.
To him, if a man has talent and cannot use it, he has failed. “If a man has talent and uses half of it, he has partly failed. If he has a talent and learns somehow to use the whole of it, he has gloriously succeeded and won a satisfaction and a triumph few men ever knew. What a man’s mind conceives, he can achieve.”
