The entertainment industry was thrown into deep mourning during week as news broke that life and stage lights have dimmed on veteran Nollywood actor, Peter Bunor.

The actor who has featured in over 200 movies and television productions, reportedly died last Friday in Asaba, Delta. It was his son, Peter Bunor Jnr who broke the news of the passing away of the notable screen actor on his Facebook page.

Bunor Jnr had posted: “In the early hours of today, my father, friend, teacher, confidant passed on”.

The actor was bed ridden for several years after he suffered a stroke.

He had been crying for help from his colleagues and state government and had indeed complained that his fans and colleagues have neglected him. There are no words yet about his interment.
