Martina Ojonah, CEO of GF-Fitness, in a statement said the brand’s vision is to ensure all women own their journey, feel confident and beautiful every step of the way until they reach their ideal weight.
“We understand that girls and women generally want comfort and style, they don’t want to break the bank, yet they want to slay, which is why I decided to come up with the fitness brand in the first place, the kind that competes with NIKE but affordable enough for the African girl/woman.
“ Our brand celebrates curves and stretch marks; we also understand the flair for fashion in the true sense of the word even as a plus size, so we have ditched the boring yoga pants that does nothing to your body and replaced them with yummy, bright-coloured leggings.
We understand those stares from the skinniest girl at the gym when you, our African woman is getting her gym fix on, which is why we have designed our jiggle free tops and stand out leggings to fit your style and get your motivation on” she said.
Ojonah added that other products from their design table include the GF-fitness Hydrun, jump ropes, sports-bra and soon to launch swimwear.
“We understand the wants, desires and struggles of our ideal clients and at such ensures we tick the boxes consistently to fulfill their needs. We also understand mums and their peculiarities, which is why we have created the GF-Fitness wears to make them comfortable and crowd pleasing even in their tight schedules” she added.
