Omo-Oba Adetona Sikiru Adenrele-Ayedun hails from the Giesi Royal House in the ancient city of Ile-Ife. He is an heir to the throne of Ile Oodua, having been born into the Moniki extract of the Giesi Ruling House in Ile-Ife.

Omo-Oba Adetona Sikiru Adenrele-Ayedun hails from the Giesi Royal House in the ancient city of Ile-Ife. He is an heir to the throne of Ile Oodua, having been born into the Moniki extract of the Giesi Ruling House in Ile-Ife.

The young Adetona Adenrele-Ayedun was born on the 27th March, 1967 in Ile-Ife in the present State of Osun, Nigeria. His father, OmoOba Ibraheem Adetoyebi Adenrele Ayedun is a famous and successful Cocoa Merchant and Sooko Minu of Giesi Ruling House for about thirty years running. His late mother, Olori Rhodiat Feyisara Anike Ayedun, was also a Princess from Waasin Wokunmorun extract of Ogboru Ruling House. She was a very hardworking and successful trader until her death.

Adenrele-Ayedun age attended St. Paul’s Primary School, Ayegbaju, Ile-Ife and Abiola Jacob’s Primary School. He later attended Community Grammar School, Kudeti, Ibadan in the Old Oyo State and proceeded to University of Ife, now known as Obafemi Awolowo University between 1988 – 1992. He graduated with a Bachelor of Art (B.A Hons.) degree in History. He also holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the same University and another Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Transport Management Studies from Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, which qualifies him as a Logistics (Import & Export) Specialist. Omo-Oba Adetona career and business sojourn span through politics and logistics services.
He joined Messrs. JOEKOL Services Ltd and SAPID Holdings Limited, both are Licensed Logistics Conglomerate Company at Sapid. He rose to become the Managing Director; managing and developing a wide range of diverse and complex logistics transport service businesses. He later registered his own Company, LIMPID Investments Limited, also a Licensed Logistics company through which he was able to invest in real estate and contribute directly in humanitarian services both to the indigene and non-indigene of Ile-Ife, home and Diaspora.

Prince Aderenle-Ayedun dedicates his life and resources to the preservation of Ife Culture and advancement of Ife cause. He participated fully in politics before he relocated to Lagos for business. He was a two-time contender for the Federal House of Representatives ticket under the platform of ACN an APC. He was the commissioner for Home Affairs, Tourism & Culture, Osun state in 2011.
He is a recipient of several honor and awards; among them is the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Ikeja Branch Outstanding Philanthropist Award.
He is married and blessed with a daughter.
