All roads lead to the Eko Gardens and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, on Tuesday December 20, for the maiden edition of the Vibes With Dr Adaku music fiesta. The 3-part music concert is a mesh of music, wellness and technology discourse, all of which are hallmarks in Dr Adaku’s career.
For the British-Nigerian post-doctoral researcher, musician, and author, the concert is poised to be a value-laden experience that is a break from the usual concert experience in Nigeria.
Featuring performances from over 20 supporting musicians and entertainers, including Ugoccie, Solana, Majesty Lyn, Daisy The Firecracker, Lauretta Yemoja, Byno, Leap of Faith Dance Academy, among others, the show will be a thrilling experience for music lovers in Lagos.
“The goal is to use my music, my ideas and my influence to propagate a better, sustainable way of life for everyone. I’m heavy on wellness, peace of mind, and good vibes. And that is what I am all about sharing on the 20th.
“I’ve got a 16-track album dubbed, The Vibes Are Known, and so much unreleased music that I will be performing live with my band. I’ve got other very talented people performing that night too. It’s going to be worth everything to everyone,” Dr Adaku said.
The show will also feature a melange of interactive games and web3 workshops for teeming enthusiasts powered by Lens Protocol, while also offering merchandise sales, food, drinks, photo booths, and networking sessions, just ahead of the headline performance.
The web3 workshops at the concert will further educate fans and creators alike on how to tap into the lucrative potentials of the decentralised digital economy.
