In a bid to chart the right and rewarding direction for her career, a promising performing female artiste, Freda Francis, professionally known as Emee Freda alongside her band, Planet 9 is set to begin streaming live content to a critical global audience.

Having previously showcased confidence and ability at platforms like MTN Project Fame, Nigeria Breweries Plc Star Quest, and Nigeria Got Talent, the instrumentalist, songwriter, and composer is primed to cover 20 hours of live streaming every week on 17LIVE, a world-class social entertainment platform that helps users express their talents and passion in eight markets across the continents.

First founded in Taiwan in 2015 by Jeffery Huang, 17LIVE as a platform, has maintained its leading position since it entered the Japan market in 2017, becoming the biggest platform for live entertainment in Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the United States, India, and other countries.

With more than 46K contracted artistes globally, and attracting more than two million active users monthly, 17LIVE attempts to capture unscripted, unpredictable moments through live technology.

As live streaming becomes the new normal, with music artistes, social media influencers, dancers, chefs and diverse professionals striving to make it a part of everyday live, the music technology graduate and former Femi Kuti’s Positive Force Band backup singer and dancer welcomes the challenge to present as much diversity and spontaneity as possible.

Beyond music, Emee Freda also showcased her natural physical attributes as a beauty queen, when contested for the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) crown in 2011/2012.

In 2013, she was on the runway for the Most Talented Model of the Year, an event organised by former Mr. Nigeria, Deji Bakere in collaboration with Silver Bird TV, which she eventually won. In 2015, she recorded two singles titled “Peace and Confession,” and “God of Bad Boys and Girls.”

Her latest artistic venture is supported by the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Culture and Tourism, through the Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Hotels Management and Tourism Board, Ini Akpabio Akpabio.
