WISCAR Holds Graduation For New Mentees Today

graduationAT the Agip Recital Hall of Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos, today, Women In Successful Careers (WISCAR), a not-for-profit organisation will gather to mark the graduation ceremony of the sixth stream of successful mentees and seventh induction of stream members.

Former First Inland Revenue Service executive, Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui Okaru, will be the keynote speaker at the event themed: “Women Leading Change.”

The panelists have been carefully selected from topflight female executives leading change in their various fields of endeavour, including Prof Remi Sonaiya, first female presidential candidate; Lynda Saint-Nwafor, Chief Technical Officer MTN Nigeria; and Yewande Sadiku, Executive Director, Stanbic IBTC.

Speaking on the event, founder of WISCAR and Human Resources Executive of MTN, Mrs. Amina Oyagbola said: “We chose the theme for this year’s event to highlight the importance of the contribution of women to the growth and development of the nation and ensure equal opportunity and empowerment of women for real development to occur in our country.
