TheEllaMoBrand is a tech-forward, community-driven fashion platform redefining how African women across the diaspora engage with style, identity, and heritage. With seamless e-commerce, modern logistics, and a powerful brand story rooted in Black womanhood and African creativity, TheEllaMoBrand positions itself as a global player in the luxury fashion and creative economy sectors.
Founded by fashion influencer and digital marketing strategist Olubukola Adenugba, the brand curates AfroLuxe collections through collaborations with visionary African designers such as Ziva Lagos, JTO Couture, Ayodele Jayne, Zephan & Co, Silk & Silk Enchanting Allurex, Jewel Jemila, Akanke, and many others.
Each collection drop is more than just fashion—it’s a cultural conversation, delivered with premium quality, emotional storytelling, and a community-first approach. From silk co-ords to effortlessly chic occasionwear, TheEllaMoBrand’s offerings reflect a bold, elegant aesthetic tailored for the modern African woman.
“This is for the woman who wants to feel soft, confident, and connected. She’s not choosing between heritage and elegance—she’s wearing both.”
More Than a Brand — A Cultural Ecosystem
With operations in the UK and sourcing anchored in Africa, TheEllaMoBrand functions as a cultural bridge—connecting diaspora communities with their roots through intentional design and elevated fashion experiences.
But beyond clothes, TheEllaMoBrand is building a cultural ecosystem. Through its growing platform, it is creating meaningful employment across digital marketing, content creation, logistics, and fashion tech, supporting talent within Africa and across global diaspora communities.
Every curated piece carries meaning. Every campaign reflects community. Every customer is part of the Trybe—a collective of women embracing pride, joy, and purpose through fashion.
“We’re not just selling fashion. We’re preserving culture, building community, and giving African women everywhere the freedom to feel seen, styled, and celebrated,” says Olubukola Adenugba.
A Brand Built from Personal Truth
Olubukola’s career began in Mass Communication at Bowen University, where her passion for storytelling took root. Her journey continued in the fashion world—working with global brands like Zara and H&M and collaborating with African fashion houses as a digital creator.
She later pursued a Master’s in Digital Marketing at York St John University (UK), where she sharpened her expertise in audience behaviour and branding. Her lived experience as a diaspora woman longing for fashion that merged identity and elegance led to the founding of TheEllaMoBrand.
“I wanted something that made women in the UK—and beyond—feel like they never left home. Fashion that celebrated where we’re from without sacrificing quality or ease,” says Olubukola.
Celebrating Sisterhood: TheEllaMoBrand Pop-Up Brunch
In a powerful expression of its mission, TheEllaMoBrand hosted its debut Pop-Up Brunch in London—an intimate, fashion-forward event celebrating sisterhood, style, and shared storytelling.
The gathering featured curated showcases, heartfelt moments, and an emotional influencer toast where guests became the stars. It was more than an event; it was a celebration of identity, elegance, and connection.
What’s Next?
As the global fashion industry increasingly looks to Africa for inspiration, TheEllaMoBrand is already building the bridge. With demand rising across the UK, Europe, and North America, it is setting new standards for how African fashion is experienced and celebrated.
This is only the beginning.
TheEllaMoBrand is not just a label. It’s a movement. A legacy. A platform where African creativity meets global possibility.
